Due to emotional distraught, conflicts left hanging in the air, dissatisfaction and a caboodle of other factors, marriage bonds loosen. If what is left of the marriage could no longer be saved, then unfortunately the once celebrated milestone could succumb and terminate into a divorce. Divorce and all the effects it has to the couple, to the children and to society even are not at all encouraging. As such, this is a major concern to Americans over the years.
As a matter of fact, nearly half of the once notable matrimonies culminate in a divorce. Statistics shows that in every 3.2 marriages, 1.2 ends in divorce thereby significantly implying that there is indeed a high percentage of failure in the marital bond. Georgia, also known as the Peach State, is not at all exempted to this. Archives to these events, along with other vital occurrences, are housed in the Division of Vital Records, Georgia Department of Public Health.
